This is a cool video of Tesla's new rocket ship of an electric sedan drag racing a Ferrari. The initial acceleration of the P85D is crazy, but the Ferrari is clearly no slouch either. It really shouldn't be, at approximately three times the price of the Tesla.

In other Tesla news to which I've been meaning to link, the Model S will be getting a software update over the air that will help you make sure that you're never out of range of one of their super chargers to help eliminate "range anxiety". Additionally, Tesla's "autopilot" mode should be added—also through and OTA software update—within the next few months.
